Now with its 1.0 release, whether players have played during the Early Access period or waited patiently, the developers are excited for players to experience the full breadth of Ooblets. Ooblets has grown immensely since its Early Access release in the summer of 2020, with new regions, ooblets, crops, story content, and many quality of life updates already released for Early Access players.
Here, developer Glumberland provided a brief overview of the game, showing off its farming mechanics, as well as the cast of Ooblets that players can collect and customize. During the May 2022 Nintendo Indie World Showcase, it was announced that Ooblets will be launching on Switch sometime this summer.Ī new trailer for Ooblets was shown at the start of the latest Indie World Showcase. Currently available for Xbox and PC via Epic Games Store, Ooblets will soon be expanding to Nintendo’s hybrid console. I absolutely love the game and would recommend it to abyone.Ooblets is a wacky and weird marriage of the farming simulator and creature collecting genres. The farming aspect is what you would expect, but it does come with some unique opportunities for your Ooblets! With each feature I unlock or quest I complete I feel like there are about 4 more things that are opened up to me! I usually am indecisive and have a hard time actually going from debating about purchasing a game to actually doing it. The jokes in the game are adorable as well. But in fairness I am only about 5 hours in. The dance battles are unique and fun although I feel that there should be more. Every little bit of the game has been crafted with such care. I have been able to relax and smile while playing because of the charming atmosphere and adorable creatures. I'm saying this not to share my life, but to express how thankful I am to this game. Given the fact it did not have a proper review. But this one I felt I had to go out of my way to do so.
